@jsufotoJee Su Kim is a South Korean photo-based artist, born in the United Kingdom, raised in China with an American education, studied in Hong Kong and Atlanta, GA, and is currenly based in Korea. Her work goes beyond documenting literal representations by blending her subjective vision to create more emotionally evocative images through symbolic and abstract imagery.

​Growing up in a multicultural background as a Third Culture Kid (TCK), she was constantly challenged with finding a sense of belonging, enabling her to channel isolation and otherness into a source of empowerment. She captures narratives rooted in the themes of alienation, displacement, and cultural homelessness, delving into diverse definitions of identity and a sense of belonging.

​She is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), holding a BFA in Photography and a minor in Film/Television.
